The Fort Wayne-based group String Shift will be the featured musicians when The La Fontaine Arts Council, in partnership with Huntington Sheet Metal, presents “Violins in the Vineyard” from 7:30 to 9:30 pm on Wednesday, September 21 at Two-E’s Winery.
Longtime friends Ed Stevens and Charlie Witkowski founded String Shift in 2013 to provide audiences with a new way to listen to classical and contemporary music provided by string players primarily from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Their programs present musical selections in a casual way and showcase the professionalism of the musicians. In addition to the entertainment, sweet and savory appetizers, two wine tastings and a voucher to purchase wine are included in the $50 ticket price.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from LAC Executive Director Debbie Dyer by calling 260-358-0055. LAC board member Adam Drummond has tickets available at the United Way of Huntington County office at 356 W. Park Drive during business hours. All other LAC board members have tickets for sale as well.
