LAFONTAINE ARTS COUNCIL PLANNING 2019 JEFFFEST

The La Fontaine Arts Council and Four Corners Custom Framing, sponsors of JeFFFest, have
begun plans for the annual event, this year scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 23 in
downtown Huntington from 6 to 8:30 pm.
The family-friendly community event gets its name from Jefferson Street, where the festivities
take place, along with the Fabulous Music, Fun Food, and Fine Art available at the event.
The art portion of JeFFFest offers local and area artists of all ages the opportunity to create an art
work on a five-inch by seven-inch canvas. These official JeFFFest canvases are now available
for purchase only at Four Corners Custom Framing, 419 N Jefferson St in Huntington, during
business hours Tuesdays through Saturdays.
The completed canvases are to be returned to the frame shop by June 15, at which time they
become property of the La Fontaine Arts Council. They will be professionally framed and
displayed for the silent art auction at the frame shop beginning June 20 and ending the night of
JeFFFest.
Artists may purchase more than one canvas, and any medium can be used on the canvas.
Submissions must be dry and ready for framing when they are turned in.
All proceeds from JeFFFest go toward the La Fontaine Arts Council’s in Education
programming.
