The La Fontaine Arts Council and Four Corners Custom Framing will once again
sponsor JeFFFest, meaning it’s time to get ready to fill the frames, feast on the food
and feel the beat for the event’s eleventh year.
The family-friendly event will take place on June 24 in downtown Huntington from
6 to 8:30 pm and will feature the three F’s of “fun food, fabulous music and fine art.”
The art portion of JeFFFest offers artists of all ages the opportunity to fill a frame by
creating a work on a five-inch by seven-inch canvas. These official JeFFFest
canvases are now available for purchase at the frame shop, 419 N Jefferson Street in
Huntington, during regular business hours from Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Completed canvases are to be returned to Four Corners Custom Framing by June 15,
at which time they become property of the La Fontaine Arts Council. They will be
professionally framed and displayed for the silent art auction at the frame shop
beginning June 21 and ending the evening of JeFFFest.
Artists may purchase more than one canvas and any media can be used on the
canvas. Submissions must be dry and ready for framing when they are turned in.
All proceeds from JeFFFest go toward the La Fontaine Arts Council’s Arts in
Education programming.
